The Grind Never Stops: Lil Oxxy
Stopping by the Iamhiphopmag platform for the first time we have the Richmond, VA born artist Lil Oxxy. Now I'm always looking for hardworking people to PR for. Oxxy is probably the most active and hardworking underground artist in the south when it comes to social media so I had show him some love. Oxxy lived in Richmond up until the age of 15 when his family decided to move to Fayetteville, North Carolina. It was there where Oxxy's mother would become hooked on drugs and sold crack to sustain her heroin habit. Being highly impressionable at this age Oxxy was quickly influenced by what he was seeing and experiencing and decided to make music. "I started going to SouthView in Hope Mills and started selling weed and miscellaneous stuff and never stopped." Now at the age of 21 Oxxy has graduated college and maintains a steady job as he continues to pursue his music passion. "Still deal with my ignorant ass family, and I still grind everyday."
