LIVE FROM THE 910: GOLD ROLLIE BODDIE
Making his first appearance on the Iamhiphopmag platform, Gold Rollie Boddie was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Music has always been the foundation of who he is today."At the early age of 11 years old I began writing raps, what initially inspired me was watching video countdowns such as TRL, 106 & Park, MTV Hits and so on." Seeing so many talented artists on the big screen inspired the young MC. Influenced by the likes of Jay-Z, Eminem, and The Cash Money empire.. Boddie's music consists of everyday life experiences he's either been through, or seen happen around him.
"2012 was the year when I really started taking my craft way more serious, within that same timeframe I bought my first DAW (Digital Audio Work Station) by the name of “Cakewalk."It was packaged with a digital recording program and microphone... since then I have been recording day in and day out non-stop. Boddie became a full time student online at Full Sail University majoring in Music Production. Although he did not graduate he's more than thankful for the knowledge obtained.
